Right-Sided MI
Must perform a right sided ECG by placing the anterior leads over the anterior right side of the chest. 60% of inferior wall MI's have a right-sided component. Ten percent of these patients will become hemodynamically compromised and present with jugular venous distension, hypotension, but no evidence of pulmonary edema. RV infarction is suggested if hypotension occurs after NTG administration (decreased preload).
