Cocaine/Meth in MI

  1. NTG or Oral CCB's should be utilized for any ST segment changes (LOE I, Class C)
  2. Reperfusion-Angiography should be utilized for persistent ST segment changes after above Tx (LOE I, Class C)
    a. Lytic Treatment may be used if persistent ST segment changes after NTG and CCB and no PCI available
  3. Beta Blockade (LOE IIb, Class C)
    a.Combined Alpha and Beta blockade (Labetalol) may be used if SBP>150, or ST>100bpm and patient has received NTG and CCB
